Mobor Beach is at the southern tip of the long Salcete coastline, where the Sal River meets the Arabian Sea. It is a narrow strip of sand between the sea and the river, which gives it a scenic setting. The beach is popular for water sports, including jet skiing, parasailing and banana boat rides. Boat trips leave from here for dolphin spotting and river cruises. Several luxury resorts, including The Leela, are located at Mobor, making it one of the more exclusive areas of South Goa. Across the river mouth, the hills of Betul and Cabo de Rama are visible. The beach is quiet and clean, especially outside resort areas. It is worth the trip for its striking location at the river mouth.
