Cola Beach is a hidden gem in Canacona taluka, between Agonda and Cabo de Rama. Its most distinctive feature is a freshwater lagoon that sits just behind the beach, separated from the sea by a strip of sand. The lagoon is fed by a stream and is popular for swimming and kayaking in calm water. The beach is reached by a rough track off the main road, which keeps it relatively secluded. A few eco-friendly tented camps and beach huts operate during the season. The surrounding cliffs and forest make it one of the most scenic spots on the South Goa coast. Visitors come to swim, relax and enjoy the quiet. It is worth the trip for its unique lagoon and wild beauty.
