Busch Stadium

Busch Stadium is the home ballpark of the St. Louis Cardinals, one of the most successful franchises in Major League Baseball. The current stadium, the third to bear the Busch name, opened in 2006 in downtown St. Louis. It was designed to frame views of the Gateway Arch and the city skyline beyond the outfield, giving it one of the most photogenic settings in baseball. The Cardinals have won multiple World Series titles, and the ballpark's atmosphere reflects the city's deep baseball culture. Beyond game days, the adjacent Ballpark Village entertainment district and the Cardinals Hall of Fame and Museum draw visitors. The seating bowl holds more than 44,000 fans and is known for its sea of red during home games. Statues of Cardinals greats stand outside the gates. Tours of the stadium are offered when the team is away. The venue also hosts concerts and special events. Its blend of classic red-brick design and skyline views makes it a downtown landmark.
